Description
The temperature tool makes use of a platinum RTD sensing element to detect minute changes in borehole fluid temperature. The sensing element provides high sensitivity, stability and linearity over a broad temperature range. The tool output is calibrated to provide 10 Hz/ºF.
Temperature surveys can be used to define zones of injection or production and to detect vertical intervals of flow behind pipe.
